I can see strength improvement and that encourages me. I also really like the community and coaches. I have never felt out of place at CF. Everyone at 5280 is down to earth and friendly. There are always new challenges that make me want to be better and achieve more. I really enjoy 5280.
Are you married, single, in a relationship? Do you have any children (“furry” children included)?
Married, and I have 2 boys.
What is your favorite activity to do outside the gym?
I like being creative and spending time with my family
How do you make time for CrossFit in your weekly schedule? What’s helped you stay committed?
I try to stick to three days a week at the same time. I feel so much better when I attend regularly- it keeps me going.
How has 5280 made your life better?
I feel stronger and healthier. It makes me feel good to take care of myself in this way, knowing it will improve my health long term.
What is one CrossFit goal you are currently working on?
To have a better cardio stamina and increase my weights
Share one CrossFit story… (funny, cool, inspiring, etc)
In the beginning of CF, I was terrified of lifting the dumbbell over my head. Now, I have no problems doing it, it’s just a matter of how much weight to do.
What advice do you have for someone thinking about starting CrossFit?
Join 5280 or at least try it for awhile. You’ll love the people and the coaches. It really meets every individual at where they are at. You determine what level you’re at and where you want to take it. You’ll never be bored with your workouts.

I like to know what makes people tick. I enjoy learning about the unknown and unseen. There is so much to learn... so many books and so little time.
